Last week, some students of Pittman Academy in Petersburg, Virginia experienced a different morning for class. Many thanks to Mr. Khalid Muhammad and Mr. Anthony Cooper of the 9th & 10th Cavalries of The Buffalo Soldiers who brought two beautiful horses to the grounds of the Third Baptist Church where student's of Pittman Academy got to meet the horses. They also learned about horse-related jobs, what it takes to take care of horses on a daily bases and the bond between horse and rider. It was a great day for all.
